It is the intention of Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett to appoint Reverend Brandon Moll as pastor of Cross Lanes United Methodist Church as of July 1, 2025.
Reverend Moll is currently the pastor of Faith UMC and St Luke’s UMC in the Greenbrier-Wesleyan District. Brandon has been serving churches in the West Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church for the past 25 years. This will be his 3rd appointment.
He served as a youth pastor for five years prior to his appointment to the Webster Springs charge. Brandon has been appointed to Craigsville and Richwood: the St Luke’s / Faith Shared Ministry for the past 5 years.
Brandon is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a music performance degree and is soon to be a graduate of Kairos Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. Brandon will be commissioned this annual conference to be a provisional elder.
Brandon is passionate about making and growing disciples of Jesus through deep relationships and community engagement. Brandon was recognized for his commitment to sharing Jesus with his neighbors, and those outside the church, with the 2024 Harry Denman Award.
Brandon is married to Amy who is a teacher and academic coach. Brandon and Amy have four children: Bree (22), Ashton (19), Elise (17) and Eli (15).
Let’s make Reverend Moll and his family feel welcome to the Cross Lanes community even as we continue to work with Pastor Deborah. Your SPRC will begin the work of transition with Pastor Deborah and Reverend Moll over the next few weeks.
