The season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday and continues up to Easter Sunday.
This year Ash Wednesday is on March 5th, and Easter is April 20th. Below you will find a list of activities and events for the Lenten season – you are invited to participate with us as we journey with Jesus to the Cross.

March 5 – Ash Wednesday
We shared a simple meal of pancakes and sausage and then moved to the sanctuary for worship with our Cross Lanes UMC God’s Kidz.
March 9 – first Sunday of Lent
March 16- second Sunday of Lent
March 23 – third Sunday of Lent
March 30 – fourth Sunday of Lent
April 6 – fifth Sunday of Lent
April 13 – sixth Sunday of Lent – PALM Sunday
Thursday April 17 – Maundy Thursday – join us for a simple meal and a movie about Jesus’ last supper with his disciples in the Fellowship Hall, 6pm
Good Friday, April 18 – tbd
April 20 – Easter Sunday – We rejoice that Christ is Risen!
