Living Our United Methodist Beliefs: UMC Heritage
Class Leader: Rev’s Darick & Cindy Briggs Biondi
This class will explore the special gifts of theology, witness, and organization that The UMC brings to the church universal, how we got where we are today, and how out distinctive emphases are still needed in the 21st century church.

The “HOW and WHY” of a small group!
Class Leader: Sheila Radochio, LLP
In this short class, you will learn how to set up a small group, whether it be online, in person or in a hybrid setting. You will also learn why having a small group is so important to your faith walk. Handouts will be sent closer to the class date!

Lay Servant Ministries Basic Course
Class Leader: Rev. Andrew Tennant
This course is foundational for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries. Participants are encouraged to discover and employ personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship. The course is 10 hours, 2 hours are to be home study. Please obtain your book early.

Ministry with the Forgotten: Dementia through a Spiritual Lens
Class Leader: Sheila Radochio, LLP
In this course Pastors and congregations will be better equipped to minister with people affected by dementia, receiving their gifts and responding to their unique needs. They will learn how people with dementia contribute to the community and the church’s life and mission, discovering practical ways those contributions can be identified, nurtured, and incorporated into the church’s life and ministry.
