United Methodist Churches across the West Virginia Conference are presently involved in a major campaign to fund mission ministries vital supplies and cash donations. The Celebration of Mission Event (COME), has been a major contributor to mission ministries supported by the WVUMC for the past twenty-seven years.
The Nine Rivers District presents; Festival of Song, A Celebration of Mission Event Sunday April 21 at 2pm at Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, with music by: Lyndia Sturm, The Almost Heaven Dulcimer Club, Jim Snyder/St Paul’s Nitro, Jonathan Dierdorf/Elizabeth Memorial, Ben Wells/Wesley Foundation Marshall, Cross Lanes UMC Worship Band, The Nine Rivers Group (Danny Kinder, Jennifer Goldizen, Robert Fulton, Dustin McCune and friends), and more!

Drop off of tangible goods begins at 3:30pm. The mission ministries supported this year with tangible goods are: Ebenezer community outreach in Huntington; House of the Carpenter in Wheeling, and Volunteers in Mission. Each group has specific requests for tangible goods – they may be found by clicking here.
